Why is no one talking about Jake Shields? Because his stand up looks so awkward? Against Robbie Lawler the announcers were saying that Shields "was in trouble" even though he landed about 15 kicks while Lawler landed 2 or 3 punches none of which landed on Shield's face.
Lawler was considered a very good fighter in the UFC. But he fell right into that choke almost as if it were made to order. Shields has some exceptional Jiu Jitsu and he has put into play countless times without anyone giving him the least big of credit. It's puzzling.
